Yris Margarita (Marte) Rodriguez

Yris Margarita Rodriguez was born in Dominican Republic to Domingo Marte and Flor Maria Cespedes as Yris Marte. She migrated to the United States in 1965 and worked in a NY hospital to send for her four children: Hector, Yvelisse, Arelis, and Euclides (Benny). She soon married Jose Rodriguez, a family friend. She lived the rest of her life according to her religious beliefs as a wife, supporter, and home maker. She is loved by friends and family across the US and DR, whom she also loved. Yris passed away in her home in Sebring, Florida on January 17, 2025. 

Yris Rodriguez will be layed to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida at 1pm, January 23, 2025.
