Wanda (Eldridge) Brown-Gerlach

Wanda Brown-Gerlach, 77, of Avon Park, died on Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 2025, at AdventHealth Sebring.  She was born on April 10, 1947 to Ike and Sarah (Godbehere) Eldridge in Chattanooga, TN.  The family would move to Avon Park.  Wanda retired as a corrections officer.  She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Kimberly and LaWanda; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at 939 W. Main St., Avon Park.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Masons Scholarship Fund.
