Walter Lee Cook

Walter Lee Cook, 56, of Port Charlotte, died Sunday, June 15, 2025 at his residence.  Walt was born and raised in Avon Park and a 1986 graduate of Avon Park High School.  He served in the US Marine Corps during Desert Storm.  Walt enjoyed fishing and taking his truck out to the scrubs.  He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cook and son, Stephen Cook; 2 grandsons.  Memorial services will be held on July 13, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Fountain Funeral Home, Avon Park, FL.
