Obituary

Richard “Dick” Wayne Franklin, Sr., 81, of Sebring, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 at his home.  Born in Norwich, NY Johnson and Margaret Franklin, he had lived in this area for 42 years having lived a short time in Tampa. He attended Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. Dick was a farmer.  He enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara in 2019.  He is survived by 6 children, Richard Wayne (Donna) Franklin, Jr, Tampa, Laura Franklin, Brandon, Robert Franklin, Sebring, Monica (Stan) Epling, Sebring, Vicky (Barry) Setters, Avon Park and James (Heather) Franklin, Columbia, SC; 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
