Richard E Crosson

Richard E. Crosson, 68, a lifelong resident of Avon Park, died Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 at Somers Hospice House.  He was a member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church and supported the American Legion.  He served in the US Air Force and then continue to work as a civilian with the Department of Defense as a supervisor in communications.  He is survived by his wife, Brenda A. Crosson; mother, Kathryn Wooten, Moultrie, GA; two sons, Shannan Crosson and Travis (Dawn) Crosson of Avon Park; four sisters, Marie (Ron) Nesmith, Birmingham, AL, Helen (Bob) McPhail, Moultrie, GA,  Nancy Manley, Coeur d'Alene, ID and Carolyn Hurm, Moultrie, GA; and five grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
