Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend, Natalina Miranda Bonilla, is rejoicing with our lord. She passed away surrounded by her family on December 6th, 2022, at the age of 84. Born in Puerto Rico on April 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Emiliano Miranda and Edelmira Bonilla. She was the wife of the late John Ortega. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. She positively impacted the lives of anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Nataly was a well-loved and respected member of all the communities where she lived in Puerto Rico, New York, and Florida. She was educated in Puerto Rico and studied business and cosmetology. In New York, she owned and operated a successful prestigious salon. Celebrities, athletes, politicians, and diplomats were all customers at her salon. Nataly was well cultured. She traveled around the world to several foreign counties including the lands of her ancestors in Spain and Italy with her husband. She was a true patriot and was proud to say that her favorite country was the United States of America. Nataly was an intellectual. She loved reading, theology, politics, current events, genealogy, and history. Throughout her life, she found great joy in helping others. She dedicated her time to her church and several veteran organizations. She enjoyed dancing, horse racing, and educating people about the lessons of life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Nataly had a deep religious faith and always tried her best to do God’s work on earth. She is now at peace with the love of her life, her late husband John. She is survived by her three children Rafael Estevez, Lucy Watkins and Lizette OrtegaMillan, and their spouses. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rafael Estevez, John A. Watkins, Eric Estevez, Gregory Estevez, Joseph Estevez, Kevin Millan, Kristie Millan, Kenneth Millan, and Kathryn Millan, seven great grandchildren, beloved sister Carmen Miranda, the late Emilio Miranda, Jr, the late Elba Miranda, and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
