Lvurn Loftin

Lvurn Loftin, 95, of Avon Park, passed away on Monday morning, June 16, 2025 at Vivo Healthcare, Sebring.  Lvurn was born September 21, 1929 in Mayfield, KY and moved to Avon Park in 1973 from Providence, KY.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army.  Lvurn was a member of the Sebring Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the church.  He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret Sue Loftin; son, Lward Loftin and his wife, Joanie, from Texas; 2 daughters, Sharon Steedly from Kentucky and Florida and Rita Kipp and her husband Jason, from Washington; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Bowman, Charity Williams, Naomi McDonald, Marie' Aroh, Brian Loftin, Georgeanna Harley and Susan Jenkins; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Fountain Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be at Bougainvillea Cemetery, Avon Park.
