In loving memory, we honor the life of Lawrence Bernard "Puncho" McRae who answered the voice of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 16, 2025 who departed from the labor of this world to receive his reward and take his eternal rest.
Puncho as many called him was born November 21, 1956 in Avon Park FL to the late Willie James McRae, Sr and Virginia Lily Foster McRae, the youngest of ten siblings.
Puncho attended Avon Park High School and graduated from King High School in Tampa, FL Class of 1975. After graduation he attended college in Houston, TX.
Puncho grew up as a member of Mt. Olive AME Church in Avon Park. He later joined Faith Temple Ministry, Avon Park and at the time of his passing was a member of Faith Pentecostal House of God, Avon Park.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter, Katina McRae of Tampa, FL; Sisters, Alfreda McRae Brown (Kelly Brown), Perditha McRae Williams (Arthur Williams) all of Avon Park; Brothers, Harold A. McRae (Johncyna McRae), Bradenton, FL, Frank Davis (Chada), Tallahassee, FL; Grandson, James Anthony Lawrence of Tampa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His was no ordinary Life His was a life well lived.
