Jeannette L Neidhoefer

Jeanette L. Neidhoefer died at peace in her home in Sebring, FL on February 7, 2017. Jeanette was born May 8, 1947 , in Milwaukee, WI. She attended St. James Parochial School in Menomonee Falls, WI, Divine Savior High School in Milwaukee, WI and Mount Scenario College in Ladysmith, WI. After college Jeanette taught grade school in Fairbanks, Alaska. After returning she participated in several ventures in southern Florida. Eventually she settled in Sebring where she participated in what she enjoyed most – animal husbandry. She raised tropical birds as well as many other types of animals. She was also very talented in wood working – “Intarsia” . She was a very giving neighbor, talented gardener and faithful friend.

Her parents were James and Elaine Neidhoefer, deceased. She is survived by Charles and Laural Neidhoefer of Hartland, WI, James and Rose Asher of Phoenix, AZ, Robert and Mary Paul Zaums of Waterbury, CT, Sebastian and Kathleen Geraci of Eau Claire, WI, Norbert and Nona Josten of Wellsboro, PA, Mark and Jill Ann Doedens of Thiensville, WI, Cecilia Kolstad of Pembroke Pines, FL, Therese Chojnacki of Nashotah, WI, James and Elaine Reno of St. Clair Shores, MI, Judith Neidhoefer of Davie, FL and 34 nieces and nephews.

Jeanette’s funeral will be held on February 18th at 11am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, FL. Burial will follow immediately at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park.
