Eunice Mae Cochran Iley-Lavender, 69, of Avon Park, passed away January 10, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was an active member of the Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church of Avon Park. Born March 25, 1956, in Mulberry, Florida, she was the sixth of seven siblings. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Russell Lavender, and daughter Donna (Jeff) Block, and brother George Cochran. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rayna Parks, Lane (Ella) Parks, Ruby Iley, Chrystal (Michael) Armetta, Kai (Ashleigh) Washington, Ryan (Lilly), Mason, Colton, and William Block. Aunt to Kim (Chris) Baker, Cindy (Daniel) Glenn, and Melissa (Brent) Reeves, along with many other nieces and nephews.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Raymond Iley. Also leaving before her were her sisters Patricia, Frances, and Patsy, and brothers Ed and Ronnie Cochran, along with her parents George and Joyce Cochran.
Eunice devoted her entire adult life to her caregiving work that was evident in every part of her life. She was a former CNA at Royal Care in Avon Park, a milestone in her life that she was most proud of.
Eunice found joy in spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and friends. She loved to fish and especially loved to play bingo with her dear friends Jackie and Helen. She will be so very deeply missed by her family.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 p.m., January 18, 2026, at the Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church of Avon Park with repass to follow.
