Ethel Maxine Wenger

Ethel Maxine Wenger, 88, passed away December 5, 2025, in Lebanon, Ohio. She was born May 13, 1937, in Waverly, Ohio, to Clarence and Lucille Bellow (both deceased). 

Ethel worked as a bookkeeper for many auto dealerships throughout her career. She was an avid antiquer, enjoyed garage-saling, and loved orchids and African violets. She moved to Florida in the mid-1980s and was a long-time member of Union Church in Avon Park, FL. 

She was married to Joseph Fritz, who died in 1986, and Orie (Clay) Wenger, who died in 2022.

Ethel is survived by one son, Timothy Fritz (Amanda); two stepdaughters, Amanda Elder and Dawn Youmans (Joe); and many grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons Gregory Fritz and Jeffrey Fritz, her stepdaughter JoAnn Thomas, her stepson Carl (Chip) Patillo, and her granddaughter Heather Fritz.

Services are scheduled for December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Church in Avon Park, Florida. A graveside service will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida.
