Elaine Mae (Campbell) Allen

Mrs. Elaine Mae Campbell Allen, 62, of Avon Park, died on February 19, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Old Hope, Jamaica to Leon and Enid Dooley Heslop Campbell and had lived in this area since 2006 having previously lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and New York.  She was a retired nurse.  Elaine was a member of the Ridge Seventh - Day Adventist Church where she was actively involved serving as a head usher, hospitality and with the youth.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mera Campbell.  She is survived by her husband, Douglas Allen; four children, Richardo Jackson, Terry Anne Jackson, Norris Jackson and Jeffrey Campbell; sister Janet Johnson; and 10 grandchildren, Teryon, Phillip, Michael, Elijah, Prince Amir, Rylan, Zipporah, Paris, Milan and Carter.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Seventh - Day Adventist Church with Dr. Norman G. Knight, officiating.  Interment will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
