Devin Wilson

Devin Wilson, 46, of Lake Placid, passed away on February 23, 2026.

Devin was born January 13, 1980, in Houma, Louisiana, to Rhonda (Pitre) Wilson and William Wilson, both of whom preceded him in death.

Devin was a talented woodworker who took great pride in his craft and the business he built with his own hands. He found joy in creating pieces that would last for years and be part of people’s homes and lives. Outside of his work, Devin loved traveling and especially enjoyed visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, where he could relax and take in the beauty of the mountains. He also loved attending concerts and spending time listening to his favorite artist, Cody Jinks, making memories with family, friends, and animals along the way.  Our hearts are full knowing he is reunited with his parents and beloved cat Grey who we all know is drinking sweet tea with Devin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Destiny; his daughters, Angela and Lily; his sister, Dede of Sarasota; and his brother, Daryl of Pennsylvania; sister in law, Lori (Jose) Flores, nieces Arabella and Aiseley Flores of Texas; and also his 2 loving dogs Jinks and Jolene.

Devin will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he lived and the love he shared with those closest to him.
