Dennis Ray Elder

Dennis Ray Elder 71, went home to be with the Lord on October 8th 2025 surrounded by loved ones. 

He was born on June 1st 1954 in Avon park Florida to Joe Lee Elder and Ada Elder. 

Dennis lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. He was an avid hunter , fishermen and mentor/coach. Dennis had a heart that welcomed everyone and a spirit that made you feel right at home. He could make you laugh and smile without even trying , it was just who he was. His kindness, warmth, and gentle humor touched everyone who knew him. Though he’s no longer with us, the love and laughter he shared will live on in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his Wife Amanda Elder, and four children Steven Elder, Mandalin Elder , Christian Elder Piriz , Dennis Elder II , 14 grandchildren and pup Shugg. 

He was proceeded in death by parents  Joe Lee Elder and Ada Elder , brothers Steven Elder and Terry Elder , Sisters Pasty Crane Elder and Wanda Bond . 

A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held on November 1st at 2pm at :

101 N Jim Rodgers Ave Avon Park, FL  (Union Church) with Pastor Bill officiating.
