William E. Jones, 78, of Yorkville, IL, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center, Sebring, FL.  A native of Wabasha, Minnesota he lives in Yorkville, IL and has wintered in Sebring since 2003.  He attends Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park and is an active member of the Tanglewood Community.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerold E. and Loretta C. (nee Riester) Jones, brother, Jerald F. Jones and sisters, Donna Jones Benjamin and Marietta Jones Flanaghan.  He is survived by his wife, Marianne T. Jones; son, Christopher Jones and wife, Mary Ann Hughes, St. Michael, MN; 2 daughters, Julie Jones McCormick and husband John McCormick, Glen Ellyn, IL and Susan Jones Thanepohn and husband, Philip Thanepohn, Newark, IL; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
