William H. Fowler, Sr., 75, of Lake Placid, passed away Monday evening, May 1, 2017 at VITAS Hospice.  A native of Charleston, West Virginia he had lived in this area for 9 years coming from Cooper City, FL.  William served in the United States Marine Corps.  He was a member of the Lake Placid Seventh Day Adventist Church.   He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; 2 children, William H. Fowler, Jr. and wife, Cindy and Michele Y. Golde and husband, Bernard; 1 sister; 5 grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
