Sharyn Arlene Swinney, 76, of Avon Park, died Wednesday night, February 21, 2024 at The Oaks at Avon. Daughter of Brent and Mary (Mose) Pruett she was a native of Pana, Illinois.  Sharyn lived most of her life in Illinois and had moved to this area 2 years ago.  Sharyn retired from Ameren Electrical Illinois.  She loved God and her family.  She enjoyed reading her bible, roller skating, crocheting and cooking.  She was preceded in death by her son, James D. Swinney Jr. and brother, Frank Dennis Pruett. Sharyn is survived by her husband of over 58 years, James D.; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Lash and husband Kirk; brothers, Brent and Paul Pruett; grandchildren, Jeremy Cottrell and Jenna Kibler and her husband Dalton; great grandchildren, Hunter and Jace Cottrell.  She will be missed by those who knew her especially her loving family.
