Pearl Jul Barfield, 93, of Avon Park, passed away Sunday morning, February 5, 2023 at her home.  Pearl was the daughter of Charles R. and Berma (Dollar) Rutland and was raised in Tifton, GA.  She loved her cats and watching westerns.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years in 2008, David F. Barfield, son, Davy and siblings, twin brother, Earl, Mildred, Edward, Pete, Lloyd, Elton and Gene.  She is survived by her children, Billie Joe Barfield, Cathryn (Alvin) Gavin and Rebecca (John) Gerke; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Private services were held and she was buried next to her husband in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
