Michael Wane Stewart, 66, of Avon Park, died Monday morning, January 9, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.  Born to Emmanual and Annette (Curry) Stewart he was raised in Avon Park working in auto business with his father.  Mike moved away and during that time he received multiple awards from Ford and Toyota becoming a multi-state Service Manager of the Year on several occasions.  When he moved back about 20 years ago he worked as a transmission specialist with Bill Jarrett Ford, receiving many more accolades for his work.  He was an active member of the Avon Park Moose club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Stewart and parents and survived by his children, Michelle Stewart (Robert Lobacz) of Chicago, IL, Jeremy Stewart, Oklahoma City, OK, and step daughters Jacoba (Jaques) Moyet (Amizarel) and Shaunta Resnick; sister Renee Bennett (Doug); and 9 grandchildren.  A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
