Mr. Karl David Schrom, 92, of Avon Park, died at his home on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2020.  A native of Wayne County, MI he had lived here since 1989 coming from Plymouth, MI.  He was a member of the UAW and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 plus years.  Karl liked to tinker and always enjoyed making something if you wanted it.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis in 2004; son, David Schrom in 1989; his son - in -law, David Bruce and his parents, Eston F. and Betty Irene Bruce.  He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Bruce; sister, Emma Rancour; brother, Andy Schrom; daughter - in - law, Robin Shrom; two grandsons, Matthew (Kristy) Lampton and Scott (Melissa) Bruce; two great granddaughters, Grace and Vicki; and nieces and nephews
