John Sherman Mayo, Jr., 90, of Sebring, died at his home Sunday morning, May 9, 2021.  He was born in Pontiac, MI to John and Eva (Zahn) Mayo on March 30, 1931.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy.  John retired as a tool and die maker in 1986 from General Motors.  He lived seasonally in Sebring for 15 years splitting his time in Lincoln, MI.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge 571 and Eagles Aerie 3762.  John is survived by his wife Betty: 4 children, Kim (Katherine) Mayo, John S. Mayo III, Lorraine (Mayo) Craft and Tracy Mayo; 3 brothers, Jeffrey, Jay and James; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
