Janet M. Malinowski, 75, of Sebring, died on Friday evening, January 27, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital.  She was a native of Rapid City, Michigan and had lived in this area for 30 years coming from Michigan.  She was a co-owner of Ridgewood Gas & Auto.  Jan was a member of the Sebring Christian Church.  She also enjoyed gatherings with the State Employees Retirement Group and the ladies group from her street.  Jan loved to paint with water colors.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sebring Christian Church with Preacher Todd Schingel officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  There will be a memorial service in the spring in Michigan.  She is survived by her husband, John Malinowski; two sons, Bruce Lund, Peoria, IL and Craig Lund, Byron, IL; daughter, Cheryl McGovern, Sebring; sister, Phyllis Clifton, Heartland, MI; 9 grandchildren ad 5 great grandchildren with 2 girls due in the spring.
