James "Jamey" Davis, 58, of Brighton died Tuesday evening, August 8, 2017 at his home. A native of Bradenton he lived in Brighton for over 30 years coming from Myakka City. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. James loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Anna; children, Stephanie Floyd, Sonny Holland, Robbie Holland, Angie Holland, Monika Davis, Michael Floyd and Robert Floyd; brother, Joey Davis; sisters, Terri Buzbee, Jenny Beagels and Jocelyn Davis; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
