Geraldine Yvonne Hicks, 74, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  She was a lifelong resident of Avon Park.  Geraldine was a devoted, loving wife to husband Millard, a devout Christian and a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Avon Park.  She retired from Walker Memorial/Florida Hospital as a Dietary Supervisor for over 30 years.  She will be remembered by the love and care she gave to anyone in need.  She is survived by her husband, Millard; five children, Kimberly (Lance) Fileger, Thomas (Kari) Dailey and Elizabeth Hicks-Rosenthal of Avon Park, James "Buddy" (Chastity) Hicks, Lakeland and Trenda Hicks, Sebring; brother, Manual Smith, Avon Park; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Church of the Nazarene, Avon Park with visitation one hour prior.
