Geneva R. Phillips, 86, of Avon Park, died Sunday morning, February 19, 2017 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.  A native of Lawrence County, Tennessee she was born to Marion Francis and Emma Frances (Tucker) Wisdom and had lived in Indiana for 50 years before moving to the Highlands County, FL area 11 years ago.  She retired from RCA after 30 years working as an inspector.  Geneva was a member of Bethany Baptist Church though unable to attend the past few years. She loved spending time with her family.  She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, William G. Phillips; 3 children, Wayne Phillips, Franklinville, NC, Karen Cunningham, Avon Park, FL and Martha Ratzloff, Lakewood, CO; 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Somers Hospice House, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33872.
