Edward Paul Thomas, Jr., 62, of Avon Park, died Monday evening, February 14, 2022, at AdventHealth Sebring.  He was the son of Edward Paul and Louise Marion (Stelmack) Thomas, Jr. born in Chicago, Illinois.  Ed had lived in this area for 13 years having lived previously in Labelle and North Miami, FL and Chicago Heights, IL.  Ed was active in Special Stars and enjoyed bowling and baseball.  If you didn't know Eddie after meeting him before parting ways you would be a best friend.  He never met a stranger.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Thomas Walter, numerous Aunts and Uncles.  He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Barbara Thomas and John Byrd, sister in law, Kathy (Garrett) Harrell, a much loved niece he enjoyed horseback riding with, Angie Harrell; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
