Caleb Troy Wells, 17, of Avon Park, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.   Caleb was born March 1, 2004, in Ft. Worth, TX to Troy and Jenny Wells. Shortly after his birth, he and his family moved back to his father's hometown of Avon Park. Caleb had been a student in the Avon Park Schools: Avon Elementary, Avon Park Middle School and Parkview Prep Academy. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Avon Park. Caleb enjoyed exercising and hanging with friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Wells and maternal grandmother, Margaret Brown. He is survived by his father, Troy Wells; sister, Tori Wells; paternal grandparents, Lawler and Betty Lou Wells; several Aunts and Uncles; many cousins and countless friends.

Caleb was an organ donor with his heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and other tissues being used to help save the lives of many.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Florida Baptist Children's Home.
