Aniece E. Alexis, 70, of Avon Park, died on Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2019 at Tampa General Hospital.  A native of Cap-Haitien, Haiti she had lived here since February 1996 moving from Haiti.  She was a housewife, who enjoyed cooking, singing and praying.  She did missionary work from Avon Park to Haiti. Aniece loved her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them.  She was survived by her husband of 46 years, Elivain, Avon Park; two daughters, Angeline Anitus and Nelsie Alexis-Floreal; five sons, Christolain Alexis, Jean Moise Alexis, Jonas Alexis, Jacques Elie Alexis and Johab Alexis; 10 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Beck, officiating.  A visitation will be held prior to service at the church.
