William "Bill" Edgar Futch, 74, of Frostproof, died Friday morning, August 17, 2018 at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1944 in Winter Haven, FL to William Roy and Toy May (McRae) Futch. He retired from GenPak after 22 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and golf. He is survived by three sons, William Edgar (Carrie) Futch, Jr., Ricky Wayne (Joleen) Futch and Lewis Earl (Charlene) Futch; two brothers, Earl L. (Lita) Futch, Warsaw, IN and N. Phillip (Darlene) Futch, Salem, IN; three sisters, Toy May (Jay) Calloway, Salem, IN, Loretta E. (Donald) Smith, Sebring, FL and Sara E. (Bill) Ridgway, Salem, IN; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Toy May Futch, brother, Roy Gordon Futch. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many, many friends. Visitation will be from 10:30 am with Funeral serves being held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at New Hope Church, 825 CR 630a, Frostproof, with Pastor Landon McCallister officiating. Interment will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery, Avon Park, FL. Reception will be at the church following burial.
