James Clifton Hubbard, better known as “Cliff” or “Mouse”, 71, of Avon Park, died Friday afternoon, April 6, 2018. He was born November 18, 1946 in Dyersburg, TN to James Ewell and Ethel Lucille (Rutherford) Hubbard. James had lived in the Avon Park area for 15 years coming from Miami. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was formerly a machinist, electrician, professional motorcycle racer, automobile restorer, motorcycle and auto custom engine builder. He is survived by three children, S. Lynn (Alfred) Frampton, Alana (Donnie) Abel and Britt Stringer; sister, Barbara (Warren) Zorzi; eight grandchildren, Victoria, Justin and Nicholas Frampton, Nicholas (Kristie), Crystal and Davie Cuppy. Brittany and Amber Stringer; nephew, Warren (Denise) R. Zorzi, Jr and children, Ian and Megan; niece, Dawn (Kyle) Amos; and his beloved dog, Whiskey.
